Nurse Assistant: Open and Laparoscopy Surgery
General surgical and gynaecological theatre nurses must have a minimum of 18 months theatre experience.
Description
This 2-day course will provide a solid grounding in the principles of assisting in surgery and allow opportunities to develop manual skills. The course will comprise lectures, manual skills training using organic tissue and surgery simulation in the Surgical Lab.
