Basic Suturing Workshop

This suturing course is a practical workshop for those new to or wishing to hone their skills in wound suturing. This workshop will be suitable for: House Officers, Junior Residents, GPs, Nurses and Midwives.

Description

Topics Include:

  • Knot Tying Techniques
  • Interrupted Deep Buried Sutures
  • Simple Interrupted Sutures
  • Interrupted Subcuticular Intradermal Sutures
  • Best evidence based practice
  • Hands on workshop
  • A Certificate will be issued.

 

The course has a limited number of participants on a "first come - first served basis".

  • Important Note - the course will be cancelled if the minimum number of participants have not been reached one week prior to the workshop.
  • Any Cancellations within 3 weeks of the scheduled course will not be entitled to a refund.
